How our solar calculator works

This free tool turns your average monthly electricity bill into a realistic solar plan for your home in Pakistan. It converts your bill into monthly units using your city’s electricity tariff, then divides that by how much solar generates in your area — roughly 4 units per day for every 1 kW installed, or about 120 units a month per kW.

A little headroom is added for future load growth and normal panel ageing. Because generation and tariffs differ by location, the calculator uses your city’s data to give you an accurate recommendation.
